One of the most important elements in developing Racial Equality work in the South West has been the networking which has been taking place between the various Racial Equality organisations. Development of the South West Racial Equality Network is an initiative in which Bristol Racial Equality Council and the Project took the lead, with the support of the CRE. This Group has now become one of the key forums to look at issues and the development of a regional strategy.

Networking has enabled the development of new initiatives promoting Racial Equality and access to services for Black and Minority Ethnic people in the South West.
