'07 Merseyside Open College Network Community Works Skills Training

The course is designed for people who are new to or looking to get into community work or people who have experience but wish to pick up an accreditation. It runs from January 07 to July 07 (average one day per week) and will lead to accreditation through Open College Network Introduction to Community Work Skills Level II. The programme will include advice and guidance and will cover recruiting and supporting volunteers, fundraising, presentation skills, campaigning, equal opportunities, resolving conflict, group work, etc.

The course is organised by Merseyside Chinese Community Development Association; delivered by the Adult Learning Service and supported by Edge Hill University.
